This handwoven piece from Hands Weave Hello brings together a diverse range of materials, including hand-dyed and painted Japanese paper, Madagascan raffia, macramé cotton, recycled silk chiffon, marbled recycled sari silk and velvet.

Showcasing the artist’s breadth of skills and techniques, the work explores the interplay of contrasting fibres, surfaces and weaving methods. Woven onto a cotton grid canvas, layers of soft, coarse, smooth and sculptural textures come together to create a richly tactile surface, inviting viewers to look closer and appreciate the intricacies of its making.

With its subtle palette and emphasis on texture, this work brings depth, quiet character and warmth to any interior.
