Elishia Jackson is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung land. Elishia has a background in Painting, Drawing, and Collage art, and of recent years has delved into the world of fibre art and modern sculptural basketry. Using a variety of materials including foraged natural fibres, paper, reclaimed wood, wire, and Plaster of Paris, she weaves sculptural vases, vessels, bowls, hanging mobiles, and wall hangings. Her work is earthy and delicate, rich in warmth, patina and movement.
Elishia has exhibited and sold her artworks across Australia and internationally since 2003. She currently works from her home studio where she lives with her husband Zennan and their cat Koji who freelances as studio assistant.
