Words can hardly describe the true impact of this glorious, oh so colourful and truly inspirational tour. For a long time, I had been intrigued by the mystique of Morocco. And when the opportunity arose to not only visit but tour this beautiful country with other like-minded people, I didn’t hesitate!

Expertly led by Julia Green and Jono Fleming, the tour exceeded all my expectations. Whilst I was familiar with the itinerary, each day was like a beautiful surprise as we were seamlessly transported from one stunning destination to the next. Julia and Jono’s tour showcased the beauty of Marrakech and its surrounds: the colour and frenzy of the souks, the wonder of the stony desert and the tranquillity of the Atlas Mountains. Creatively, it was an immersion of colour, pattern, textiles, flora and architecture.

In conjunction with our Moroccan host, Moh, all aspects of the tour were like a finely-tuned machine. I feel privileged to have seen, experienced and dined in very special venues. And like any successful event, there is always a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. To Julia, Jono and Moh, I am so grateful. Thank you for your effort, activity and energy in bringing it all together. As a solo traveller, I was warmly included with the group and have created new friendships. I was perfectly matched to share accommodation, and it was so nice to have someone to debrief with at the end of each day.

I feel blessed and fortunate to have been a part of this spell-binding tour. Morocco has sprinkled its magic dust and I am brimming with inspiration for my fabric and wallpaper designs. I would return in a heartbeat!

From touch down to take off Julia, Jono and Moh had everything covered and I mean everything.

On a complete whim and a lot of cosmic luck I somehow found myself ... one Canadian amongst 14 complete (Auzzie) strangers in a land of unmatched wonder.

Morocco's unique and wonderful, perfectly imperfect nature serendipitously mirrored the human ensemble that Jules and Juno curated for our tour.

Magic happens when the mystery of a foreign land and friendships unfolded together and let me tell you ...we unfolded! If we weren't picking our jaws up off the ground from wonderment we were massaging them from so much laughter. Julia & Jono's version of Morocco was unlike the Morocco I've experienced in the past.

From the souks, through the desert to the Atlas Mountains ... this duo/trio seem to possess the secret maps and coveted keys to sights, shops, rooftops, gardens and secret hidden restaurants that one might never discover on their own.

To say that this experience exceeded all expectations is an understatement and we were all generously gifted a pdf of professional photographs (by the insanely talented and honestly the sweetest human, Jono Fleming) to not only prove it/post it ....but more importantly for us all to look back and remember the richness of our individual and collective experience.

We feel so grateful and blessed to have been a part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! From the moment we arrived in Morocco, we were blown away by the colour and design inspiration everywhere we looked.

As owners of a tile store, we were especially impressed by the abundance of tiles – we really couldn’t have been in a better country to experience the craftsmanship of these handmade products.

Aside from that, the tour itself was so well thought-out and it was clear to us that Julia and Jono created an experience that any design lover would adore. Our local tour guide, Moh, welcomed us into his world with open arms and always made sure we had everything we needed and more!

Each day was full of exciting adventures, sightseeing, shopping, and of course, eating – the ultimate experience, really! If you’ve always wanted to visit Morocco, there is no better option than this tour. It has left us with a new appreciate for all things tiled, Moroccan and an incredible group of friends for life.

Julia and Jono are the types you trust, and you know are going to be fun, from the moment you talk to them and then meeting them in Morocco only cements what you already think - this trip is going to blow my mind and I am going to love every minute - their energy is infectious.

Every detail was thought through which made the journey wonderful. The accommodation was beautiful, the activities were a great mix of shopping and cultural learning, the people were fantastic and no request was ever a problem.

My trip to Morocco with Julia and Jono was seriously.....beyond amazing! Since coming home, I haven't stopped talking about it. Everyone I know is now inspired to travel to Morocco!

The tour itself was incredibly well curated. Not to mention full of colour, texture and warmth (and by that I mean the warm Moroccan sun, alongside Julia and Jono's incredibly genuine and caring nature). We stayed at the most beautiful accommodation and ate at the best restaurants in town. And wow did we shop!

Julia and Jono, along with our fabulous local guide Moh, took us to see amazingly talented local artists and designers. We also spent time exploring the souks, museums, cultural sites and secret gardens. Throw in a camel ride in the desert, relaxing by the pool surrounded by the stunning Atlas Mountains, dancing the night away on a rooftop overlooking Marrakech, and you have the ingredients for a trip of a lifetime.

I think I'll be telling my grandkids about my Moroccan adventures and I can't wait to catch up with the lifelong friends that I made on tour to reminisce!

Years of pinning, researching and getting inspired about Morrocco has created a hunger for me to visit this place one day. Julia & Jono not only satisfied that hunger but also made it an amazing life experience that I would never forget. The whole experience offered a unique and an understated luxurious insight of Marrakech from the sights, activities, food and accommodation. It was a near perfect mix of culture, comfort and design that will re energise or spark a new inspiration for any creative (or anyone) who would emabrk on this journey.

Julia and Jono (and Moh!) made the trip look effortlessly seamless that gave a peace of mind and allowed me to fully immerse and live through the experience. The knowledge, care and support they have given is incomparable and a true reflection of their passion in design and of them as people. A truly memorable trip filled with colour, wonderful memories, amazing food and new friends that will live through my stories and everyday life.
