It was always a dream to find a place to call Greenhouse Interiors 'home'. After years of searching, the perfect building presented itself, and we swiftly moved in to stamp our kaleidoscopic brand into a bricks and mortar emporium. Built to emulate the footprint of a home, our old New York loft-esque building was transformed to feature two bedrooms, a bathroom, dining, lounge and kitchen, with every single touch point shoppable.
We wanted our customers to feel welcomed into a styled space, bursting with texture, colour, and feel inspired to recreate their own slice of domestic paradise within their own home. Filled to the brim with one off finds, European treasures, art-inspired bedlinen and Australian furniture, our flagship store over two levels is a curation of all things artful and beautiful, with timeless quality at the forefront of our ethos.
Our purpose built gallery showcases some of our country's best emerging artists, as well as those established, namely Ken Done. With every touchpoint considered, our destination store is not only a wonderland of colour, but also a place where people can spend hours inspired to plot their interior dreams. As a hub for events, we set out to create an immersive experience for all of those who visit. We welcome you all with open arms.

We had a clear design vision for Greenhouse’s new flagship home. To create a retail destination like nothing else we have here in Australia. A large retail showroom that felt like a home, a home where everything is shoppable. The space had to feel warm and inviting despite its scale and warehouse feel. It needed to be luxurious and grand but intimate and personable. Right from the first walk through together we all had a clear vision of how the space would break down into areas, segments of the home, spaces within spaces.
Careful attention was spent on how best to create 'moments' throughout the floorplan. The art, furniture and products sold at Greenhouse Interiors needed a textural, colourful backdrop so that they themselves could shine. Texture and materiality are essential in the collective worlds of RA and GI - so we set out to show people that you can be brave and combine finishes and textures and materials - but still end up with a timeless and sophisticated palette.
It was also extremely important that we partnered with exciting brands to execute this vision. Australian companies delivering exceptional products to last a lifetime. These materials, accessories and appliances help the customer visualise the greenhouse product offerings in their own home. We are thrilled with the outcome - a triumphant project that has managed to tick all of the deliverables, and wow its design hungry audience!
