Deborah Moss is a New Zealand artist whose expressive, semi-abstract paintings are deeply influenced by the natural beauty surrounding her countryside studios, nestled within native forest in North Auckland.

Her richly layered works explore the dynamic exchange between the land and her inner world, revealing traces of gesture, memory, and light. A full-time artist, Deborah exhibits regularly across Australasia and has been the recipient of a national art award, as well as a regular finalist in several others. Her work is held in private collections internationally.

Since embracing a rural lifestyle, she shares her days with family, a menagerie of animals, and the ever-changing rhythms of the land. For every original artwork sold, a native tree is planted on her property through her ongoing “Planting Hope” initiative.
