The scalloped dish is a sustainably made functional piece of art.
Hand built and crafted from paper cement clay - a mix of recycled paper pulp with clay and cement added to create a durable material. Air dried under the suns rays, the material takes on a solid sculptural form with a textured appearance. Hand painted with water based paint and finished with a protective water resistant coating of food safe natural varnish.
