Nuluumga Dreaming is a canvas print created by Australian mother-daughter art duo Miimi & Jiinda, founded by Lauren Jarrett and Melissa Greenwood. As proud Gumbaynggirr custodians, Lauren and Melissa love to share their interpretations of Country, which spring from their own personal cultural identities as Aboriginal women.
This painting is symbolic of our connection to- past, present and future- supporting each other through our own strengths and wisdom & innate wisdom passed down through our ancestral ties. It brings about healing, deep connection and abundance.
This piece was inspired the Mother Tree on our Gumbaynggirr Jagun which is a vital life force for hundreds of surrounding trees, microorganisms and animals. Bushland's are deeply connected and collaborative spaces; communicating with each other through networks below the forest floor.
