"Mawang (Together - Aqua)" is an original painting by contemporary Aboriginal artist, Lou Martin.
When you are with the right people, a problem shared is a problem halved. This painting represents coming together around camp fires and talking, not only about the good times, but the difficult ones too. The U shapes are the symbols for people and the small pin-point dots represent the smoke of the fires. Our problems can seem insurmountable when we are experiencing rough times, but sharing your concerns with loved ones can lessen the burden. We can get through this mawang - together.
