Each Lamp base is hand made in the Kaz Ceramics Studio and then hand painted, making each one unique. The lamp base stands at approximately 26cm in height, 11 cm wide and comes with all of the electric components for you to be able to assemble your light.
The lamp base also comes with the Rafia Lamp shade which is also hand woven in the Kaz Ceramics Studio
Cable and Components
The length of the cable is 1400mm and includes an in-line on/off switch. The lead is double insulated with an input of 240v. The plug is standard for Australia/NZ.
The lampholder has an E27 socket holder (This is the most common screw in bulb in our homes today). Please only use an LED globe, max 8W. The best size globe to use measures 73mm (h) and 45mm (w). This will ensure the globe is not seen above the shade.
All components are certified to meet the Australian Standards for Lighting.
To connect the lamp shade to the base, simply unscrew the neck of the lampholder, place the shade on top and screw the neck back in place. Then insert the globe.
