Ellen was born and raised in the city of Revere, Ma.A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art she majored in Art Education with a minor in Painting. In 2009, as a Copley Society of Art of Boston artist member, she was awarded a month long artist residency at the historic Fine Arts Work Center of Provincetown.Ellen has been the recipient of many awards and her paintings are held in numerous private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad. Ellen maintains a full time working Studio outside of her home, in the Cedar Park neighbourhood of Melrose. She lives with her husband Frank who claims to be her biggest fan.
