Together On Country - is an unframed Limited Edition Giclee Art Print by contemporary Aboriginal artist, Lou Martin
Painted at a time when borders were closed and families left isolated from one another, this piece is about reminiscing old times when we were all together on Country. More specifically, a time during Lou's childhood, visiting extended family and swimming in the river until the sun faded.
The colours are borrowed from Wiradjuri Country; the softly textured tans of dusty earth, the browns of the fresh water rivers, pinks and lightly scattered gold of the sunset.
