The middle circle with the two U shapes represent two people talking and engaging, while the circles above and below represent their community and the world around them. The original 'Quiet the World' was based on a couple, turning the volume down on the world around them to concentrate on each other. Similarly, this piece may mean the same, however I wanted to leave the interpretation open to the viewer. It may be you having a conversation with your son or daughter, sister, brother or your best friend. It may even be you wishing you could speak with a loved one who has passed. Essentially my intention for this painting is to take the time to focus on your relationships.
