The Protector - is an unframed Limited Edition Giclee Art Print by contemporary Aboriginal artist, Lou Martin
This painting embodies women as the nurturer, provider, carer and protector of our children. A sun (woman) and a rainbow were deliberately painted together to create a human form. Within the rainbow are two U shapes (the traditional symbol for a person), representing mother and child, kept safe within the envelope of Mother Earth. We are her protector, and she is ours.
