Moon Mountain is a representation of the Sunshine Coast's stunning Glasshouse Mountains (Gubbi Gubbi country) at dusk under a full moon waiting to stand guard. The outline of the mountain is framed beneath a brilliantly orange and delicately pink sunset, with the last touches of the suns gold in the change over as the sun makes way for the moon. The mountains are glazed in shades of peach and crimson, casting vivid shadows as the day gives in to the night. The colour palette is intentionally contemporary in the same view of embracing the shift from old to new, day to night.
