Marrumbang - Community Care - is an unframed Limited Edition Giclee Art Print by contemporary Aboriginal artist, Lou Martin
Originally painted with acrylic on canvas. Artwork is unframed and shipped in industrial strength art tube.
The inspiration for the Marrumbang 'Community' Series is about recognising and appreciating the love you receive from your own community. Life can be hard at times, so learning to identify and be grateful for the small things can help when we are trying to pick ourselves up. As with the original mini simply titled 'Community', this piece is also about recognising the support we get from around us. Wether it is a wave from a neighbour, a quick chat with staff at the supermarket, a hobby group, or the people you come across on your morning walk. The circles closer to the centre are closer to you, however even those on the outer circles are still part of your community. You never know, should you stop walking your regular path, it's likely those you'd normally say hello to would wonder about you - after all, you are part of their community also.
