Tarin Grey is a contemporary artist who works and resides in Naarm/Melbourne. Tarin’s work explores the effervescence hidden within the shapes, rhythms, and routines of everyday life. Renowned for her moody depictions of suburbia, her work savours the relationship we have to neighbourhood, home, and the familiar.
“Finding pockets of light and special relationships between shapes in my surroundings is a sort of obsession. It’s become a necessity for me to collect photos of these moments. I’ll revisit them, sketch them, and imbue them with evocative colour”.
Tarin was recently a finalist in the 2025 & 2026 Omnia Art Prize. She has exhibited in Group Exhibitions across Melbourne.
