Sheree lives in the beautiful Jervis Bay, on the South Coast of NSW with her husband and two young kids. She started painting to carve out some time for herself, as a means of self-care and personal growth. Sheree's career has exposed her to vicarious trauma, working with people with complex needs. Her art practice has become a mindfulness exercise for her, a sort of art therapy.
She enjoys exploring the simplicity of repetitive mark making and patterns, capturing moments in time - lines of lived experiences, adventures and explorations that are etched into our memories. Each line marking a moment in time.
Her playful abstract works are fun, bright, and full of happiness. She enjoys working with vibrant colour palettes that bring smiles to faces and joy to the observer. Her art brightens up spaces with the power of colour and simplicity.
