The Romance of Distance is part of a two piece collection that explores the love of other living things and our ability to humanise the world around us. In these works I traverse the way in which our environment is an interchangeable element of our felt self. Based upon the levelled fields of the Central West, this series explores the spatial relationships of this landscape and the potential metaphors that may arise from this investigation.
