Appealing Ken
65 x 65 cm Framed
Acrylic and oil
Ken lived alone in a white kit home, built sometime in the 1950s, its weathered boards glowing softly against the open fields. He was a handsome man, quietly solitary, more at ease behind a plough than in conversation.
His dog, a troublesome yet deeply endearing mutt, roamed the countryside like a local celebrity—collecting treats, charms, and acquaintances from every doorstep it visited. Where Ken kept to himself, the dog made connections.
Each evening, it would return home, as if carrying the outside world with it—lingering scents, borrowed affections, and the hopeful intention of one day leading them all back to the white house.
