June20 Sharon Overmars is an artist/designer, born in The Netherlands. Besides working as an Interior Designer, she loves to express herself through her colourful paintings. Among other things she draws inspiration from African art, Mexican folklore Greek Mythology, but most of all from her inner quest for happiness.
Her works are vibrantly colourful, sensitive and each one transmits their own identity. She calls her subjects ‘shapeshifters’ as they often seem to exist in different realms. Sharon lives with her 2 sons, husband and pets near the sea in Castricum, The Netherlands.
