This collection is about celebrating the privileges of long slow lunches with your nearest and dearest and plugging into the beach and the bush for a recharge.
The paintings are based on daydreams and photos and moments from my travels to seaside and tableside. I have tried to capture the first day of a holiday, when it’s all ahead of you: nothing to do, nowhere to be, getting ready to greedily soak up that time of stillness and fun with your favourite people.
