Amy Cowley is a young creative that lives in the raw and beautiful countryside of Zambia. She draws inspiration from the vibrant African culture that surrounds her as well as from the world of design that she has been exposed to through her work and travels.
Although Amy’s first love was oil painting, the remote location of her new home pushed her to explore the digital world and allowed her to continue sharing her crazy imagination. Amy’s art is drawn on paper, scanned and digitally layered. She uses explosive elements of design in an apparently random fashion. This process develops into a surprisingly coherent end result, giving rise to her unique contemporary art pieces.
Her work is a combination of the unique child within her and the perception of her world.
