FRAMED

Framed artwork refers to an art piece that has been professionally enclosed in a timber frame, such as an oak timber shadow box frame. This style of frame adds depth by spacing the artwork slightly away from the edge of the stretched canvas or mounted paper with glass, creating a clean, modern look while protecting the piece. The timber frame not only enhances the natural beauty of the artwork but also adds a refined, gallery-style finish—ready to hang and enjoy.

UNFRAMED

An unframed painting refers to an artwork that has been professionally stretched over a timber stretcher bar, without an external decorative frame. While it doesn’t have a traditional outer frame, the canvas is tightly mounted and ready to hang as is, offering a clean, modern presentation that highlights the edges of the artwork. This style is popular for its minimalist, gallery-style look.

READY TO HANG

A ready to hang artwork is fully prepared for immediate display. For canvas pieces, this means the artwork is professionally stretched over a timber stretcher bar and does not include an outer timber frame, creating a clean and taut surface. It also comes fitted with secure hanging hardware—such as a wire, D-rings, or hooks—so you can hang it straight on the wall, right out of the box. 

UNFRAMED & ROLLED IN TUBE

This means the original painting is not framed and has been carefully rolled inside a tube with protective layers for safe transportation. This is common for oversees shipments to save on freight costs. Once the customer receives the tube, the artwork should then be opened by a professional framer as soon as possible, to avoid any potential damage. Canvas and Paper artworks are fragile and must be treated with professional care.

Red Sun is a limited edition print by US artist Blakely Little. Blakely is inspired by the giant coastal sky, winding waterways, and colourful marshland near her home. Her artwork is how she expresses the way the coast feels like home, no matter where on this earth she is. Blakely likes to paint the way she sees the world: full of colour in unlikely places.

A limited edition print of 30 copies printed on either Paper or Canvas.

Print on Canvas 
350gsm artist canvas, polycotton acid free base with archival pigment inks.

Print on Paper
300gsm cotton rag paper, acid free with archival pigment inks.

This print is sold unframed.

This artwork is professionally printed to order, so it takes approximately 2-3 weeks to complete the shipment. The print is carefully wrapped and shipped in an industrial strength art-tube.
