This style of frame adds depth by spacing the artwork slightly away from the edge of the stretched canvas or mounted paper with glass, creating a clean, modern look while protecting the piece. The timber frame not only enhances the natural beauty of the artwork but also adds a refined, gallery-style finish—ready to hang and enjoy.

UNFRAMED

An unframed painting refers to an artwork that has been professionally stretched over a timber stretcher bar, without an external decorative frame. While it doesn’t have a traditional outer frame, the canvas is tightly mounted and ready to hang as is, offering a clean, modern presentation that highlights the edges of the artwork. This style is popular for its minimalist, gallery-style look.

READY TO HANG

A ready to hang artwork is fully prepared for immediate display. For canvas pieces, this means the artwork is professionally stretched over a timber stretcher bar and does not include an outer timber frame, creating a clean and taut surface. It also comes fitted with secure hanging hardware—such as a wire, D-rings, or hooks—so you can hang it straight on the wall, right out of the box. 

UNFRAMED & ROLLED IN TUBE

This means the original painting is not framed and has been carefully rolled inside a tube with protective layers for safe transportation. This is common for oversees shipments to save on freight costs. Once the customer receives the tube, the artwork should then be opened by a professional framer as soon as possible, to avoid any potential damage. Canvas and Paper artworks are fragile and must be treated with professional care.

This is a reproduction of an original artwork 'They Bloomed At Night' by Melbourne artist Vanessa Ferriggi, now available as a fine art print.

 

Choose from two beautiful materials- canvas or cotton paper. Printed using archival and sustainable materials. 3 sizes are available in both paper and canvas.

 

Cotton paper prints have a 50mm white border. Canvas prints are made from heavyweight, professional quality satin canvas and just need stretching and framing (if desired), with an additional edge to allow for stretching.

 

All prints are bespoke and made to order so please allow 2-3 weeks for printing and delivery. All unframed prints are shipped in a rigid mailing tube. Framing is not included.
