Original Paintings

All original paintings are signed by the Artist on either the front or back. You can also review the artists profile on our website via this link.

Fine Art Prints

All of the artists we work with generate giclée fine art prints based on a high-quality reproduction of an original painting.  A giclée fine art print is created using professional inkjet printers that spray (“giclée” comes from the French word gicler, meaning “to spray or squirt”) extremely fine droplets of pigment-based ink onto archival paper or canvas.

What sets giclée fine art prints apart from cheap digital prints?

  • Archival quality – Made with pigment-based inks and acid-free papers/canvases, so they last decades without fading (often 75+ years).
  • High resolution – Prints capture incredible detail and color accuracy, often at 1200 DPI or higher.
  • Wide colour gamut – Pigment inks reproduce subtle tones, textures, and gradients close to the original artwork.
  • Premium feel – Usually printed on textured fine art papers or cotton rag, giving them a museum-quality finish.

Giclée fine art prints are used by galleries, museums, and artists who want to sell limited edition reproductions that stay true to the original painting, illustration, or photograph. Plus 'limited edition' also means they are limited in their print runs. Most of our artists only produce 30 editions per size, unlike cheaper digital prints which are printed tens of thousands of times.

BUYER BEWARE

Illegal Images & Websites - If you see an artwork online which is 60-80% OFF and is unbelievably cheap - buyer beware! There are lots of scam operators out there which illegally duplicate images off our website (and other websites). These are illegal operators and you will receive nothing post purchase.

Artworks made by studio's not artists - When buying art, look beyond the image. Many lower-priced and cheap made-to-order pieces are produced by commercial studios rather than attributed to an individual artist. If there’s no artist name, biography or clear explanation of how the work is made, ask about its origins. Knowing who created a piece helps you understand its story, originality and value.
