Boujad rugs boast a thick wool pile that feels lush underfoot. They originate from the Haouz region from the Middle Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Each piece is unique, telling its own story via the hands of the women that wove them. You will find interesting motifs that share insights into the weaving women’s beliefs on spirituality, marriage and rural life. These rugs are said to be the most mystical of Moroccan rugs, made by different tribes and will certainly add style and substance to your interior.
Characteristics typically found in vintage rugs include uneven edges, natural fading and other imperfections from general wear, adding to the overall character and charm of every piece. Perfectly imperfect!
Each unique piece was carefully selected by Julia on her last colourful adventure to Morocco.

Colour Inspo
Colour has always been in my blood. But the memories made on a trip to the mystical magical land of Morocco almost 20 years ago stayed with me, etched inside my mind.
I knew I had to return someday.
And so I did. But this time to collect not only memories - but a careful curation of handmade and (of course) colourful homewares and textiles. These are a few of my favourite things. All sourced with love, alongside a deep passion for colour.
I hope you find a spot to bury these treasures in your own home.
