Meeting - Original Art

Meeting is an oil painting using the glazing technique which requires multiple layers of oil paint to achieve colour effects. There is also some impasto applied paint in the foreground of the picture. It is painted on primed 12 ounce canvas canvas and framed in raw oak. This piece is part of an ongoing interest in the evocations of the natural landscape and the capacity of place to capture moments of emotional lucidity.
