INAUGURAL

2026 GREENHOUSE INTERIORS ART PRIZE

Celebrating exceptional Australian & New Zealand artists whose work defines contemporary interior spaces.

Our inaugural Art Prize consists of two categories. We invite artists to create an original artwork designed specifically for one of two curated interior rooms - Bedroom & Living Room.

Each category will be judged on how successfully the artwork enhances and elevates the interiors of the room.

Art breathes life into a home, layering each room with personality and feeling so the space becomes truly personal. It tells a story of who lives there, creating a sense of soul that furniture alone can never achieve.

The Art Prize is uniquely structured around two curated interior spaces. Artists submit their artwork in response to a chosen room, thoughtfully considering how their piece interacts with the scale, palette and atmosphere of the space.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged on the artwork’s ability to harmonise with and elevate the spatial design of the room. Judges will interpret the submissions based on the following criteria:

  1. Style & Cohesion
Alignment with the design style and emotional tone of the space.
  2. Colour Composition
Sensitivity to palette, tone, contrast, and balance within the room.
  3. Scale & Proportion
