The Lost Lands | Group Art Exhibition

Exhibition Overview

The Lost Lands brings together a selection of Australian artists whose works explore landscape through layers of colour, texture, and depth. Rather than focusing on literal scenes, these works build atmospheric environments that feel immersive and quietly expansive, encouraging the viewer to spend time with the surface and the space it creates. The landscapes in this exhibition feel both familiar and imagined — shaped by memory, light, and the natural rhythms of place. Through careful layering and material exploration, each artist offers a personal response to the Australian landscape, inviting reflection and a sense of wandering within these richly constructed worlds.

Featured Artists: Marcia Priestley, Greta Hounslow, Lani Strangio & Little Anvil Studios

From the Curator

There’s something quietly powerful about a landscape. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t rush. It simply holds space.

'The Lost Lands' brings together twenty works from four of our most sought-after artists - Marcia Priestley, Greta Hounslow, Lani Strangio and Misa Gelin - in a collaborative exhibition that explores terrain not just as place, but as feeling.

Each artist approaches landscape through her own lens - earthy palettes, layered textures, horizon lines that steady you. These are grounding works. The kind that quiet a room. This one feels special.
